Catharina Lessing is a registered member of the Bar Association of Cartagena (Murcia-Spain) and admitted to the Bar Association of Bremen-Germany. She is entitled to act in all local, regional and higher Courts in Spain and Germany as well as in the Court of the European Communities.

Catharina Lessing specializes in international inheritance law, family law, real estate law, residential property law, tenancy law, construction law, international private law and criminal law. She furthermore advises in tax related issues.

From 2005 she has been working as an independent lawyer in Spain and regularly represents clients before Spanish and German courts.

Catharina Lessing was born in Bremen/Germany and studied law at the Universities of Bremen and Passau. During her studies, she completed a specific language training for lawyers in English and French at the University of Passau.

During the legal traineeship in Germany Catharina Lessing worked as a freelancer in a renowned law firm in Munich. She completed part of the legal traineeship in the US (San Francisco), took accounting courses and passed a special training in German tax law.

After the second state exam, Catharina Lessing worked for several years as a lawyer for a well-established law firm in northern Germany.

She is fluent in German, English and Spanish and speaks French well.
